Education Support for Every Child

Many children in Northern Uganda are unable to complete primary school due to poverty, poor learning environments, and a lack of parental support. This project ensures access to inclusive, quality education for vulnerable children while strengthening the capacity of families and schools.

This project targets school-going children from 500 low-income households across six districts. Through sponsorship and provision of supplies such as textbooks, pens, and sports kits, we remove financial barriers that hinder school attendance and retention. In partnership with teachers and school administrators, we also introduce inclusive play and learning tools to enhance engagement. To address the economic hardship many families face, we form VSLAs that help parents save, borrow, and invest in their children’s education. Dialogue sessions with caregivers build awareness around their roles in supporting learning at home and in school.
